The main winter resort of Armenia is Tsaghkadzor, 60 km from Yerevan, located in a picturesque valley at the foot of Mount Teghenis. The long gentle slopes of Teghenis are shared by skiers, snowboarders and snowmobile enthusiasts. The resort is equally suitable for experienced and beginners.

Tsaghkadzor is a real paradise for skiers. You can ride here from December until mid-March. Skiers love the resort for its mild, sunny weather with little precipitation. The snow cover in Tsakhkadzor reaches two meters, and the average temperature during the ski season is 5 °C. The resort has 5 lifts and 15 trails of different difficulty levels with a total length of 30 km. The longest route stretches for almost 8 km. At the very top there are black and red slopes for experienced skiers and snowboarders, as well as virgin soil for freeriders. For beginners, there are smoother green trails.
